How is this qualification structured?
The qualification is made up of six mandatory units:
• Unit 1 Understanding the business of retail
• Unit 2 Understanding the control, handling and replenishment of stock in a retail business
• Unit 3 Understanding how a retail business maintains health, safety and security on its premises
• Unit 4 Understanding how individuals and teams contribute to the effectiveness of a retail business
• Unit 5 Understanding the retail selling process
• Unit 6 Understanding customer service in the retail sector
How is it assessed?
This qualification is assessed via an internally assessed and externally verified portfolio of evidence.
